I guess it appears that Rolex can really become a good investment after all. I can't find any SD like mine going for any lower than 6 k anymore. Where such was being sold between 4-5 k when it was still in production.

I'm picking up pieces here and there from those people looking to sell in this economy and holding on to them.

Totally agree with that! I actually had my Explorer II listed for sale locally in Toronto a long time ago when I was losing my mind and months after purchase and use the offer was for a few hundred higher than what was paid... Not always the case but I'm seeing / hearing this more often. Especially as the prices continue to go up!
