This has to be the best picture of the new GMT Master II with the Black and Blue ceramic bezel that I've seen so far! Just wanted to share to see what you folks think! From - hodinkee.com And another, why not? From - hodinkee.com Incredible.....

Very nice! I did not even realize you had one, somehow! They did a great job with the colour combination I think.

Oh man, I know! It will be interesting to see what happens at Basel 2014 if anything like that. Over the years the GMT Master II (discontinued and all updated models) seemed to win me over, somehow. If Rolex did make one with some red on the bezel that would be like the classic that so many of us loved!

I found this pic online a while back... Very nice. Still waiting on a call from my AD I bet it helped push you over the edge when it came to making the choice of picking this piece up! Some of the Basel images were nice but nothing like seeing it in various settings. Just when I thought it could not get any better than the regular 116710LN GMT... This is great for me getting one of those though as more owners might sell them locally to fund getting the blue bezel or which ever one Rolex released next! Stunning Rommel, love the pics. I can only imagine how nice it would be in person! It took my breath away, so it had to be posted! Glad you liked the picture that guy took for his review.

Must admit, it really grabs my attention. I didn't much care for the GMT model before, but this one really does it for me! Cheers Carl

I can imagine a lot will feel the same as you do here, Carl. In my opinion Rolex likely has the best variety in it's history currently. The new Explorer II styled like the classic has a lot to do with this. Not to mention this black and blue ceramic bezeled GMT Master II. Now, someone who wants several watches could more so justify walking into the AD and getting an Explorer II, Submariner and GMT Master II. Not to mention the Deep Sea is totally different now compared to the classic Sea-Dweller and Daytona's in Gold now come with ceramic bezels. A lot more I'm missing like the Sky-Dweller etc etc but over all they've done an excellent job thus far.

It has me anxiously awaiting Basel 2014 to see what ends up happening then. Chances are though I would still end up with the 116710 LN but those colour's can be so refreshing. With my Explorer II the watch seems so much more "lively" with the GMT hand showing. When ever the minute hand covers the red part the watch can look a bit dull in my opinion. Not to mention I'm a huge fan of the green 24 hour hand and GMT Master II writing. This new model shows how hard it will be to decide in the end!

I saw a BLNR on a super jubilee bracelet on another forum (yeah, they exist believe it or not) and it was a drop dead gorgeous combination. The endlinks don't match the lug curvature exactly, but it was so beautiful and I'm not OCD, so I could easily look past that. Photos from member "cokecoke" on TRF.
