Way to go, Kat! Seems like you're on a roll as well I need to start researching various brands and looking online for one of these later down. There seems to be good deals that come up from time to time on these historically significant pieces. To think of how advanced these were back in the day and how much easier it made life long before the Quartz era.

Its amazing eh. Mine cost less than a Good timex quartz, amazing what value you can get with vintage as along as your prepared to not have spot on quartz accuracy. Actually I realized the other day as long as I am within 5 minutes that is good enough for pretty much anything I do in a day.

My view on accuracy is, if it does not have a screw down crown there's nothing to worry about. I don't like messing with the crown too often, so for a modern wrist watch it's off putting. For a manual wind piece you will pay close attention to daily or every other day (which is part of the fun and experience!!!!) it's no biggie. Something in a precious metal (Silver most likely due to insane Gold prices), and from a well known brand that would be easy to sell if I ever decided to do so many years in the future. Again, for $50 - $100 one can get a lot more than they would spending that on other things.

Nice! I'm sure you'll have it around that time frame. This is all part of the excitement, for sure. Once it does arrive you'll appreciate it even more.
