looking at the condition of that one Kat I think you did really well. That has all the boxes ticked on what is desirable in a vintage watch. Everything is there including the crown, the dial is in mint condition for the age as is the case. Thats a lot of watch for not a lot of money!

As I said, Ian, I go with my gut, and it just had the look of something really special. The crown is very unique, too. Everything about it oozes "retro cool", much like your Election... I have a hunch it will look even better IRL..... Kat

Great looking watch, Kat! I was thinking it looked a lot like a Longines as well. Reckon you did very well on this one!

Love that watch Kat, I have always liked that style of face, Chip is right, it also reminds me very much of the Longines diver, it will look great on a NATO when it arrives, looking forward to your impressions and photos when you receive it. CHIP, great misspell, gave me a chuckle, I'm normally reffered too in less glowing terms. Yorkshire is affectionately known as Gods own county.

I am really looking forward to you getting this one Kat. One of the things that I like about it you being American is that it has a really rich cultural American heritage it being from Sears & Roebuck. I know back in those days it was quite the event when the household received the new catalog through the door. This is a part of that and I love it for that even more.
Its little strands like that which make vintage watches so appealing I think.

Oh God Kat, the is made for your wrist. You know, it so reminds me of vintage Blacncpain's. It just oozes Jaques Cousteau or Thor Heyerdahl!
It looks wonderful on the NATO but you know, I reckon the strap I got for my Fellow would look amazing on this as well!

Great looking watch, Kat! Lovely symmetrical dial. I like it without the date.
