I just spied something in the last minute of sale on eBay so I kinda did not have time to tell you Roger but I have an immaculate Timex Electric cushion case 1971 Mickey Mouse on the way! I literally just won and paid for it. I know you have been wanting one as well so I am sorry I jumped on this but as I said, I just had a minute to act. Much to my surprise I won it for $40 and it looks mint, all working properly with a new battery and this being the Timex Electric it has a sweep second hand and 36mm case so a good size. Here is a shot from the seller, made in 1971 this was the last of the Mickey Timex's made. It went on to Bradley after that. It looks in pretty much mint condition so the price is amazing considering what they usually go for.

That looks great Ian! I'm excited for you. I've been so busy at work lately I haven't had much time to look for these. Luckily they don't seem to rare. Can't wait to see it on your wrist.

Thanks Roger. If it had had more time left I would have told you. Its in almost as good shape as that NIB one. Its coming from Portland OR so hopefully it won't take that long to get here.

Wow! Ian, you should start a little business on the side finding watches for folks who can't or just don't have the time etc. You ALWAYS manage to find the best pieces out there, somehow! This passion of yours turned into one heck of a skill!

This passion of yours turned into one heck of a skill! Thanks Rommel. Since childhood I have liked researching things. It is a huge part of the fun for me. Your not the first person to have suggested that!

I can imagine! You've got the potential to be the ultimate watch finder! Just when I think you can't do any better you post a new incoming topic with a recently serviced or mint condition piece The research over the years certainly paid off.
