Must admit I was so taken with the other one Ben was wearing in the video I found a NIB example on eBay last night for $25 so bought it! Thats four Timex's on their way to me, two vintage, two new, its a madness I tell you, a madness!

You're going to have to build an addition to the house to hold all of these!

I know, I think I shall build the "Timex Wing" to Tottering Towers When they are this cheap its hard to resist. Plus, nearly all my watches are vintage now so to have a couple of new ones is handy for knocking about or when its raining. Just reading about both I found out they both have indiglo as well which is a real bonus!

I love the design of these watches and seeing them brings back such fond memories. In that video you posted I noticed one of the pieces on the way, it was the same one I had many years ago (and loved!). I seriously can't think of any better way to spend the money. As watch lovers the feeling we get having various watches is incredible. A day does not pass where all of mine aren't used in some way. You're going to have to build an addition to the house to hold all of these! My thoughts exactly! That would be rather cool though, an entire room FILLED with watches. I now have a new goal in life

Wow! I love this one, Ian. Lots of action for you in the past couple of weeks. Guess I have a lot of catching up to do. That really is an amazing looking watch. Great to see you having so much fun these days with all of your vintage collection! Cheers Carl

Cheers Carl, yeah, been spending little for a great deal of fun. I was inspired with this one by your old dynamic! Its been a few weeks, you must have a new watch by now as well!

And now I have all these vintage watches something I have needed for a while to be able to clean dials, a crystal lift. Just won one on eBay in Canada so it should be here in a week or so. First candidate is the Timex Electric from my birth year. That dial needs so serious cleaning. In truth I don't wear it as much as I want to due to the dust and finger prints on the dial. Its a shame as the dial is a beauty!

That's quite the collection, Ian. When I was little, my first watch was a Timex. My friends and I all had simple Timex kids watches. Back then that was the brand popularized by the commercials with the slogan that's still used today. "It takes a licking and keeps on ticking".

Thanks Irwin, There is methodology to the collection as well. This one will fit into my 70's style watches. Its fun as well as its so cheap there is no pressure if I don't like something in the flesh as much as I liked it in the picture (though that has yet to happen!)
