Luckily 30 off can be had pretty easily on Omega.
I can't deny it, I find that very good looking.

And as Omega go further and further into keeping the selling in house by expanding the boutiques and pushing out longstanding and faithful to them independents. Your going to see less and less discounts from Omega which I guess is the plan to increase their value. I must admit this one does not appeal to me. For thirteen grand your into real haute Horology circles with gently used examples which have taken the initial dive in value which is very appealing if one thinks of resale at some point As an example, this mint and gorgeous JLC at Bernard for $500 less would be a no brainer for me! www.bernardwatch.com/Jaeger-LeCoultre/Master-Chronograph/JLC309

Well, as much of an Omega guy as I am - as is painfully obvious by now - I can't see the value in either the DSOM or the GSOM. Yes, they are beautiful watches, but the fact that they are ceramic - except from a research, development and engineering standpoint - does not interest me in the least. I want my watches to be metal. For a grand more, I can get a gold Tresor, if I want to stick with Omega. For 8 grand less, a FOIS. Money aside, there are many other watches I prefer. Actually, I prefer the Apollo 11 45th Anniversary LE over this any day. With titanium and Sedna Gold, and the 1861 manually wound movement, and it's a Limited Edition.

I see the DSM daily at work but we don't have the grey in yet. I'm looking forward to seeing it!

I saw this one on Sunday, but unfortunately couldn't stop. It has a black ceramic clasp. I will go back Saturday, camera in hand. It is my favourite of the ceramic models. Gorgeous all bells and whistles. matching lume on crown, and strap to die for.
