It's cool that it's the new version with the extra straps. I thought costco only sold older versions.

Although I'm sure they sell most of those watches I'm yet to see or hear of anyone who actually made this type of purchase from there. Got to love Costco though!

Not for a grey market watch without warranty papers.

In case anyone IS actually confused, by the way that watch is being advertised, it is the latest version of the Speedy Pro. It is the mechanical hand wind with hesalite crystal. Unfortunately, resellers often advertise Omegas incorrectly. Any warranty provided with this watch will be from the seller, not Omega. There are no changes to the "new Speedy", itself. There is an updated bracelet, with a better clasp, and it comes with extra goodies in the special packaging. Naturally, the MSRP went up, as well, beyond the normal % increase of the rest of Omega's watches. As Chip said, it is a lot to ask for a grey market Omega. When I first started buying Omegas, years ago, I made the mistake of buying a brand new Seamaster, from a well known online watch retailer. Though the price was good, it didn't have any of the cards that come with a watch from an AD. That purchase made me realIze that when putting out big money for a brand new luxury item, it's better to pay the piper, and have assurance that the watch is totally legit, its serial number intact, and fully warranted by the manufacturer, just in case anything goes wrong. It also helps with resale value. Since I HAVE, apparently, lost the bracelets to my own Speedy Pro, and my 57 reissue, I am thinking about contacting an Omega AD, to see if he can get me the updated bracelet, which I can then use for both of my Speedies, since they take the identical model bracelet. Upon closer examination of my two Speedmasters, I believe they share the same case number....

katgirl I made the same mistake. My first nice watch, and my dream watch at the time, was bought from worldofwatches.com. A Seamaster professional Titanium. That was in 2001, just before I discovered forums. No warranty card and to make it worse, they polished the SN from the watch AND the movement. Pieces left from polishing got inside the movement and made it run poorly. Long story short that was a nightmare. Ever since, no warranty papers... No buy.
