Great photos as usual Carl. My faves are the '57 and the Seamaster 300. I have to make a pilgrimage to the boutique soon. I made it out to Oakridge a couple of months ago. Hit Rodeo and Montecristo.

Thanks, Mark. Let me know if you come into town on a weekend, and we can do the GTG we talked about ages ago. It would be great to meet up with you!
I'm going out for dinner at the Keg tonight, downtown, so stopping at the Boutique with my camera. I want to take a closer look at the Speedy ceramic with the new ceramic deployant clasp. Never got time for a good look last visit.
Seems, though, that it doesn't matter how many of the new Speedmaster models I see, there is still nothing I like better than my Moonwatch. Doesn't mean to say that if I had the bucks, I would not get another model, though .

The Snoopy is awesome! And I do like the 300 on the strap a lot too.
I'll be interested to know what you think of the deployant. The shape of them along with the shape of ones wrist determines the comfort level.

For sure on the GTG. I'll send a PM once the boss arranges my "free" time ;-) BTW is that the gold SM300 or SS? The bezel appears to have a golden color in the photos on my Mac. What is the MRSP on the SM300 in steel in Canada? Mark

Incredible! They've certainly got some outstanding watches in their product line. Attention to detail seemed to get even better with these updated models.

The shape of them along with the shape of ones wrist determines the comfort level. Always found the deployant to be very comfortable. I tried on the DSOM a couple of times, and didn't notice any difference in the comfort level. And I find that you can fit the strap quite loosely, and it still remains very stable on the wrist.

That make a lot of sense! I was wondering how a ceramic deployant could handle the bending stresses. Ceramic is amazing under compressive stresses, but not torsional or tensile stresses.
That is a great looking combination on the distressed leather. Thanks for sharing Carl.

And it feels like it is already broken in, really soft and supple leather. Think I made mention that I was told Omega has now got a new leather strap supplier?
