Up for sale is my black dial bronze 42 mm Helson Sharkdiver. I really like the watch, but I'm just not wearing divers that much anymore since I quit diving.
Watch specs:
Bronze case (not brass) with titanium caseback - diameter 42 mm, height 14.5 mm, and lug distance 22 mm.
Dial, hands and bezel pip coated with Super Luminova
Screw down titanium crown with bronze crown guards
Automatic titanium helium escape valve
3 mm thick sapphire crystal with AR coating inside.
Straps: 22 mm black NATO with bronze rings (used) & 22 mm rubber strap with 20 mm SS buckle
Movement: ETA 2824-2 automatic
Water resistance: 500 m / 1,640 ft
While it's not a COSC rated watch, I did a rudimentary power reserve and timing check this week: Fully wound on Nov 14 and left on desk on the caseback. 24 hour deviation = +9 sec/day and power reserve was 40.5 hours, which exceeds the ETA 2824-2 standard of 38 hours.
Watch is in great condition with no deep scratches or dings - case edges are sharp. See photos for additional representation of the actual condition of the watch.
Watch is developing a natural patina, but is easily removable if you want to restart it. Sapphire crystal looks great - no scratches or chips.
I've never worn the rubber strap and it doesn't look like the original owner did either, but I can't be sure. Also comes with the black NATO with bronze rings, which is what I always wore it on.
Watch also comes with extra lug pins, Helson strap change tool, Helson warranty card, and plastic shipping tube from Helson.
I am selling the watch for $800 shipped USPS Priority Mail / Insured anywhere within the continental US. MSRP is $1299. (PM me for better pricing for WWF members)
Payment via wire transfer or Paypal gift preferred. Paypal with fees will be considered if you have references that I am comfortable with.
I have provided references from past sales at the bottom of this FS post.
Thanks for looking and feel free to email or PM me with questions.
