Day-um! A 50 year service interval - t hat's awesome and a game changer! Sounds like some amazing innovation when into the watch. I'd be interested in seeing some daylight pics to get a sense of how the dial writing is integrated into the crystal.

Amazing, I think the carbotech case is super cool too only 50 pieces too. Everyone should guess at what the retail should be !

Everyone should guess at what the retail should be ! I don't think it really matters. I reckon they're all sold and will sky rocket on the second hand market.

The only other watch I know of with a 50 year service interval is the Grand Seiko quartz. Just batteries and inspect and change the seals. Love the idea of the Carbotech. The compare it to ceramic and titanium, but don't specifically mention it's shatter resistance. That is what really gets me with ceramic (as I'm sure most members on this forum are tired of me mentioning ). I have tried on a few watches at 44 and 45mm recently, without issue as my wrist is 7.5in. But 49mm?

Superb looking watch and good on Panerai for pushing the envelope on maintenance. Now if only they could scale it down just a few mm to make it wearable.
