I ordered the blue samurai today. Those are LE, and Dan is only getting 25 of them. When I talked to him today, 21 were sold already, and that pushed me over the fence. I'm excited, seems like a heck of a watch for 550 Bucks MSRP, and all the reviews on it were positive. Now I have to decide on a strap for it.

I saw that announcement last month and it's a great looking watch. At $550 retail, that's thought to say no to. At 6000 pieces, they are approaching the "Omega" model for high production LEs though.

Agreed, but given the price point... it would make no sense at all to make just a few hundred of them. They would never get their money back.

Nice Chip, I think you'll be happy with your decision. What makes you rule out the bracelet?

Nice Chip, I think you'll be happy with your decision. What makes you rule out the bracelet? I just haven't found many good bracelets at that price point, and I've never been a fan of seiko bracelets. Grand Seiko ones are awesome, but at for a retail of 500... they have to cut cost somewhere.

Well done, Chip! I have had my eye on this one a lot, and it would actually be an excellent diver IMO. And the Turtle blue Lagoon looks great as well. Looking forward to your incoming thread! Cheers, Carl

I like the different shades of blue and that diamond cut pattern on the crown (to me) stands out.

The more I see this one, the more I want one. I saw a BNIB one listed today for $480 and seriously considered jumping on it, but I'm still raising funds for the BLNR.
