I tried to screen capture the rotor to see what it said, but wasn't very successful - that GIF moves fast. Based on the shape of the hands, I think Chip may be right.
On the Omega forums they seem to feel it's a new Railmaster based on the train sounds at the beginning of the video. Only a couple of days to go....
Yeah, heard it too. Just hope they don't make it too large. Looks like maybe a solid case back as well, which would be great. I love the Omega solid case backs. That just might put Omega back in my good books, although I imagine the price will be sky-high. So far, nothing I have seen or heard about Basel 2017 is anything that beats my BB36.
All these teasers are killing me! Can't wait to see what it is. Hopefully they don't disappoint.
Just stopped by the Omega Boutique this afternoon. They are pretty excited about what is coming up, although they couldn't say exactly. Unfortunately - at least from what I could gather from the scant information I received - whatever the excitement is, will involve limited edition models. If that is the case, I will be pretty much out of the game. I can neither afford, nor desire to be involved in a race to see who gets grabs on a LE piece or pieces. I quite simply do not have the resources to put down thousands of dollars on such a piece just for the prestige.
On the other hand, if they do come up with a reasonably sized Railmaster reissue, not a limited edition, done as well as they did the Seamaster 300, I would not hesitate to sell all or most of my present collection to get one. I have been waiting years to see if they will reissue the Railmaster.

My fingers are crossed for something good. I was at the AD a week or so ago looking at the updated Seamaster Professional and love the black dial and ceramic bezel version. It'll be too similar to the GMT once I end up getting that though. Omega is one of my favourite brands so naturally I'm hoping what they do ends up being good.
I haven't a clue where the info comes from. But as far as the 60th LE Speedmaster, LE Seamaster and LE Railmaster go, pretty much right on with what the sales associate at the Boutique hinted at yesterday. Also a Trilogy boxed set of these three. The Railmaster description is what really caught my eye: 38mm case based on Seamaster 300, solid case back, 3557 pieces. It is exactly what I dreamed of when I had the Seamaster 300 for a while. I wished they would do a reissue of the Railmaster with that same dial which, in fact, some of the vintage models were, exactly that:
