Roger, I meant to imply after a full day on the winder. I've watched it slowly get worse. Oh, then definitely needs attentions. I checked and it a bi-directional winding movement too, so doesn't matter how the winder is set either. Hopefully Terry's guy can help you with the swap. EDIT - I'd ask if they could put in a 4R36 movement if you decide to go with a swap rather than service. That'd add hacking and hand winding functions, which I love on the new Monster.

Okay then, I sent an email to Duarte and I asked about the 4R36. I'll keep everyone posted.

The WWF Monster is back from Duarte's. New movement and gaskets. Now it's for sale.

The WWF Monster is back from Duarte's. New movement and gaskets. Now it's for sale. Did they stay with the original 7S26 movement or were they able to upgrade to the new 4R36?

Original movement. A change would have required a bit of tube replacement and then a crown replacement. Since I didn't want to spend any more money, and wasn't sure if he was up to the task of matching the crown finish, I elected to stay. He concurred with the decision.
