I had to send the DJ off for service today, as the crown is stripped and it no longer stays screwed in. It will likely receive a new crown. Took the strap off, and since the crown doesn't stay in anymore I pulled it all the way and set the time to "Rolex time". Because I'm a dork. I'll miss it, I really love that watch.

Always tough to part with a watch at service time. I hope you'll have this one back asap though, CHIP!

At least you don't have to wait 6-8 weeks like an RSC service. It'll be back in no time

That one is a beauty for sure. I love the contrast of the black dial and gold. Definitely worthy of a good service. Not a bad time either.

It arrived at destination less than half an hour ago, and it's already in pieces.

It received a new crown, new stem, and new tube. I'll have it back tomorrow!
Unbelievable speed, 48 hours from drop off at usps to back in my hands.

My Oris Diver 65 took exactly 2 months, almost to the day, to get the same parts: new crown, new stem and new tube. And mine is new! Look how long your Rolex lasted before it needed those parts, assuming this is the first time they were replaced, and I bet it is.

Wow, incredible! Chip you're killing me here. Time to take the Rolex out of the safe and put it on my wrist.
