Just paid for a lightly used frugal on another forum. Hints: 1) It's a diver 2) all metal bezel with special marks every 3 minutes in the 1st 15 minutes for timing safety stops That's it for now. More to come.

This? That does look fairly close to the Kontiki!

Very nice, very interesting indeed! Thanks for introducing me to yet another watch brand , one which I had not heard of until now. I see they even have a Canadian Service Centre. Can't seem to find anywhere info about the movement (admittedly, haven't looked very far), just that it's designated as STP 1-11 Automatic. They have some very nice designs, though, and I am going to take a closer look. Looking forward to wrist shots!

The STP-1 is an ETA clone but that's all I know.

Getting in on a Drunk Art Straps grey canvas strap. Super long waiting list for those so it's a two-fer for me.

Great read - thanks! Yeah, they were around in the 60s/70s but got caught in the quartz crisis and Fossil brought the brand back to life with reissues of old designs.
