It was ten years ago, on July 14, 2007, that I purchased my beloved Submariner. Been a long decade, lots of ups and downs. Many changes indeed! But there have been new friends and good times as well. I really appreciate each and every one of you guys, even though I don't post much liked I used to do. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day anymore! I am glad to have one tiny anchor in the sea of endless change though. I remain blessed! So, to commemorate the anniversary, here's the first pic I posted: Here is to the next ten!!! (the ubiquitous "cheers" gif)

(the ubiquitous "cheers" gif) Thanks for the excellent post, and the memories! You're a better man than I! Perhaps in 10 years, I can also say I have owned a watch for as long. Anyway, regardless of my "flipping", it has also been a great time over the years. I wouldn't change a thing. Cheers to another 10 years Carl

Congrats Jamie. It's quite the achievement. Many here (and they know who they are) never keep a watch long enough to need its first service. Well done sir.

Beautiful post.
