I think we all knew this day would be coming. :-) Congrats and I can’t wait to see more pix. Enjoy your day. BTW can you have a look at 38mm AT’s?

I think we all knew this day would be coming. :-) Congrats and I can’t wait to see more pix. Enjoy your day. BTW can you have a look at 38mm AT’s? Sure will look at the ATs. Only thing is, the 38mm model is not available with the dial you like. I think there are only 4 variations of the 38mm model. I do prefer it over the larger one, though. I did try one on, and it is super comfortable. As you know, I think, the movement is a bit different from the larger model, from Archer's previous post. It is thinner as well as smaller in diameter. The Skyfall AT I had was 38.5mm and had the larger movement. It was thicker, and I could notice right away how much more comfortable the new 38mm model is. Only thing it doesn't have the GMT function, with the movement having the hour hand which can be moved independently of the rest of the movement operation. I woke up at 3am, realizing how dumb I would be to not get the LE Railmaster. But I am able to put a deposit on it, and get it when another comes in that they ordered, or until I have the funds. I was being over cautious, as I have given my notice at work for the end of January 2018. All the years of flipping Omega watches, and now I am able to the grail I have wished for all these years, would be crazy not to go for it.

They finally received an actual Railmaster (non-LE) at the Boutique, with the steel bracelet. Very impressed with overall quality, especially the finishing on the strap.
The only thing that I didn't really like is the crown, not the aesthetics but it just felt small. Maybe because of the inward taper, I don't know. And it is a screwed down crown as well. However, I wasn't comfortable feeling that the crown does not seem to stay screwed completely down unless forced. I would feel over the long term it might damage the mechanism. Just my initial feeling.
Otherwise, a beautiful watch. Perfect size. Very well finished, and the all brushed look is great.
Cheers, Carl
