Ok, time for a poll, so it you are looking at this on Tapatalk, you will need to go to “web view” by touching the three dots "..." in the upper right corner of this post and selecting web view to vote. Here are pictures of the Helson Squadron on the OEM strap, a jungle green NATO and a tan NATO. Which do you like best?

All look great but this watch really suits a NATO strap! That being said, the tan gets my vote!

Thanks Rommel. I see we have a second vote for the OEM strap, but no one is owning up to that vote. I’m assuming it’s CHIP since he hates NATOs! LOL

LOL I'm also suspecting it was CHIP, sitting in his awesome hotel room trying to unsee the sight of it on a NATO.

Voted OEM strap. And I think that the "Tan" looks washed out, more cream. 1) OEM 2) green NATO 3) tan NATO

I like them all so it’s interesting to see the comments come in.

I like the NATO here, but have tried wearing NATO and just didn't feel right. My rule of reasoning is dark dial, dark strap. So the Jungle green gets my vote.

I voted for the OE strap. I’d like to see it on a thick black leather strap with contrasting white stitching.

I think the watch begs to be worn on a nubuck leather strap, somewhat distressed in appearance, like on the Zenith Bronze Type20 I had.

So unlike me, it's scary!!!

Hey Roger! I voted tan nato though I generally don’t go for natos now despite a short period of a flurry of purchases now all sitting in various drawers 😂. I agree with Carl a distressed nubuck leather strap would look really sweet- especially in a sand color.
