Anyone run across this YouTube channel before? 😧
I’m watching this episode right now and he’s interviewing an underwater archeologist in this episode and talking dive watches. Seems like it might be a pretty good channel to follow.

Well, he did a horrible job of explaining isochronism...even contradicted what was actually happening with the watch with his description.
Put simply, isochronism is the ability of an oscillator to maintain it's frequency even when it's amplitude varies.
He also says that the 2892 he's using "doesn't vary much" when he drops the amplitude, but in fact it drops way more than the specs would allow for a top grade movement.
And this is the first time I've seen someone who off their collection in a video like this by showing photos of a computer screen...odd and the images looked distorted. I could only manage to get 15 minutes in before skipping forward, but the rest of the video wasn't that interesting in terms of subject matter since I'm not a diver.
I might look at another one on a different subject to see what else he covers.
Cheers, Al

I totally agree that showing a picture of the collection on the computer screen rather than bringing them in for the show was strange. It was a dive watch episode after all.
