This might be the most contentious of all the new Omega releases. Not quite sure which market Omega is aiming for here, or what they were thinking when they dreamed up this model. But I do know that it could end up being a favorite of all the new releases: Description from Omega: "Limited to 2,500 pieces, this rare model follows an original 1993 design by using tantalum for the base of the bezel, as well as in the bracelet. The metal's blue-grey tones offer a subtle contrast to the grade 2 titanium and 18K Sedna™ gold, which are used for the other features of the watch." Appealing also to me because it has NO DATE. Using the no-date version of the caliber 8800, which is the 8806 used in the Railmaster. Apart from that and the metals used, it has the same specs as the other versions. Omega definitely made significant changes to the Seamaster Diver 300M. With the introduction of the grey dial, and the two-tone gold/steel models, and many other changes which, at first, I didn't see as significant, I now realize what a big change this watch is. I don't know what the long-run opinions will be on this one, especially the Titanium Tantalum LE. I think this one, in particular, will be love it or hate it. Anyway, such a unique piece - especially for a dive watch - I think it deserves it's own thread. Or perhaps I just have to much time on my hands in the first stages of retirement! Cheers, Carl

You know I love Ti right? Well, no love for this one to me. I'm not a TT fan in general and the stark contrast between the Ti and Sedna gold is way to much for me.

Not sure I remember that you were loving it, but I did know you are a fan. The Omega Planet Ocean 45mm I certainly loved, one of those I never really thought would last in my collection. Not that any ever really did! I think I'm so fond of the Sedna Gold because of the bronze-like coppery hue. I really like the rough texture of the bezel on this one.
