I can definitely see that the pen tablet would help a bunch. My "mouse hand" was cramped up after doing a couple of these.

Yeah "mouse hand" sucks Hey Chip how much does one of those run? 100 bucks. Best money you will ever spend. Few things about it that make it awesome: 1. Absolute positioning. Unlike your mouse, any movement or placement of the pen on the pad translates to the coresponding location on the screen, therefore allowing you to draw, write, etc just like you would on paper. 2. Pressure sensitive. The more you push on the pad with the pen, the stronger your brush becomes. You wondering how I get the edges of my image so soft? :-) light pressure on the pen. 3. Need to erase? No problem. Simply turn the pen upside down and use it like you would use a pencil with an eraser at the other end. By fliping the pen upside down you are automatically selecting the eraser tool. 4. the button on the side of the pen acts like mouse keys. Push the top... right click. Push the bottom... left click. 5. it required no batteries or any kind of power supply. The pen is magnetic. the tablet which is USB powered sensed the strength of the magnetic field of the pen. the closer you are... the stronger it gets. 6. And plenty other features that make this the best 100 bucks ever spent! Pick one up here. (made the url "tiny") tinyurl.com/a9wux

I want this one: (too bad it's a lot more money) tinyurl.com/d6obrthe one I have it's 4x5 inches. The one I want is 9x12. Imagine the level of detail you could get with that.
