I always cringe when I see these posts on other forums and the answer is YES! They are made to be worn and designed to withstand life. Case in point - I forgot to take mine off when I got home and had to replace a sprinkler head. All was fine until I had to bury my arm in the hole to find the threaded part to put the new head on and then I pull this back out!

Don’t let Robb see this.
Too late to save me from the emotional damage this has caused. LOL
You’re right though, I’ve seen more idiotic posts than I care to remember. Not only the “is it safe” kind, but the douche kind as well, like... “what brand of socks with your Rolex?”, “what brand of cologne goes best with Rolex?”, and many other equally dumb things.

I don’t do this kind of thing regularly but sometimes I get wrapped up in what I’m doing and forget to take my watches off.
Plus I’ve read that unpolished watches go for a premium! LOL

I've read somewhere that it's been tested under three feet of mud so you shouldn't have a problem. I know you gave it a good douching.

Just turn the garden hose on it for a minute, clean as a whistle!

Just turn the garden hose on it for a minute, clean as a whistle! Exactly what I did! Still see a little dirt in the bracelet, so I’ll probably give it a proper bath tomorrow.

Let me know when you want to sell it, this kind of abuse knocks at least 85% off the asking price. But as I like you, I will still buy it, -85%

I’m pretty sure if I’m less careful with it, I’ll get an 85% premium for it since it’s: * One owner watch * Original chamfers * Unpolished * All B&Ps * Military heritage (worn while watching war movies) * Plutonium / Uranium enhanced (worn at 2 of the 3 Manhattan Project nuclear weapons productions sites), which we all know is more bad ass than tritium.

dba - I know David, it's shocking some of the threads they come up with. At least here, while we may be small, the worst we seem to get on a regular basis is the Kickstarter guys posing as someone who has an "idea" for a watch, but in reality it's already in production, which deserves it's own kind of face palm meme!
