A long time since I had a Panerai on my wrist. PAM 721: Cheers, Carl Thanks Carl. As we know the Dievas is a high quality tribute to your PAM. Fully signed and no fake. I like those blued hands too. The Dievas Vintage 3646 has gold. You've hit it out of the park with this one and the Rolex Submariner.

2nd time around. Short story: sold Sub, bought Oris: Wait. What?? The Sub just wasn't working for me, and a good friend badly wanted one. So, sold it to him and got the Oris and deposited a large sum in my bank account. Truth is, I am already happier with the Oris. Don't ask me why, I guess just suits my personality more, or something.

2nd time around. Short story: sold Sub, bought Oris: Say what? An offer too good to refuse? Well, sold it to a good friend and got exactly what I paid including tax. So at least I'm not out pocket. Actually, with the Oris I am over 7 grand ahead! Now, I can keep selling some of my other watches and build up a nice fund! What that watch fund will be for, I really don't know. Maybe not even a watch.

Sorry, that was the enabler in me. Having a deep watch fund is a blessing and curse. If you can wait for the right one - blessing. Having trouble finding the right one but wanting something new badly - curse. As always, good luck in the hunt.

I have no idea when, although I'm pretty sure I know the street it will be located on. I had a pretty good look at some mighty fine Vacheron Constantin pieces at the new boutique in the past couple of days. But nothing exciting enough for me to consider buying at any time. For now, there is no local source for AP. Even if there was, I don't think it's an easy task to get one's hands on a stainless steel Royal Oak. For now, though, keep enabling!
