Where did you send it to get serviced? How long have you had your Aqua Terra? Jeff My Aqua Terra is 7 months old and it runs PERFECT! It kicks the Planet Ocean's tail in terms of accuracy. My Seamaster Professional is the one getting serviced. It is five years old, and it was running very fast. Plus one hr per day! LOL Out of nowhere. It is getting serviced by Bailey Banks and Biddle here in Dallas. They have on site Omega certified repair shop.

It is getting serviced at the moment and it has been gone for a week already. Oddly enough, I miss the watch that I never wear! It is right at 5 years old and it was starting to act up. If I wear it, it would gain about 15 seconds a day. If I wind it up and let it sit, it would gain about an hour a day!!!!! I figured that was a dang good indication that it needs to be serviced. This is my first time every having to pay for service, and let me tell you... I am still crying at the $300 price tag... Your watch is probably experiencing a lubrification problem gaining an hour a day is typical from a watch with a lack of lubrification and you where totally right to ask for a service Hum ok 300 USD can seem a high price , but when you realize the time it need to desassemble and reassemble a complete movement .... I am an amateur watchmaker and do my own service on simple movements : I can tell you this is time consuming and not an easy task :-) I will post soon a pictorial essay on the diassembly of a complete movement , you'll see that it is definitly a delicate task ... so you'll probably understand why it is charged 300 bucks cheers JM
