Never knew this model existed until surfing yesterday... "Tudor Prince Oysterdate Mini Sub Automatic 33MM 94400" ETA 2671, Rolex case, 17mm bracelet, crown. I assume the 33mm is w/o crown. - Comments ?

Thanks Baco. I do see a handful out there of varying condition and style. Of course this size is not mainstream demand. But I'm thinking the size would work for my 7.25 wrist. I am comfortable with my 33.5 Omega vintage and a few other vintage pieces sized like that. And I see the Rolex Date are 34mm. A quick look shows 36mm Tudor Submariners are basically twice as much and the 40mm even more. I noticed one this size with Submariner spelled out on dial. Seller stated it was pre Mini-Sub around 1984. And jomashop has a pre-owned 1998 73190. $2529. Looks like that pip marker is missing. And the pre Mini-Sub with Submariner spelled.

What an adorable (for want of a better term) watch! 33mm or not, I would certainly wear it proudly. Had no idea that one existed, although I have seen other vintage pieces around that size termed "boys" watches.
Cheers, Carl

priamo - I am not a vintage expert by any means, but I have seen both versions as well - both mini-sub and submariner and Mercedes hands as well as syringe hands. Chrono 24 also shows both models. www.chrono24.com/tudor/ref-94400.htm#gref

Congrats. Which dial version did you go with?

Thank you Baco. The watch in the first post that started the thread. Seems to be a well maintained watch in excellent condition. Probably a late 1980s. I was more interested in the Dievas Marine tool watch. Almost made it through the year without a purchase, haha. The style, the "affordable" pricing, the intense Rolex influence, just compelling. The 33 mm w/o crown should be fine for me, 7.25" wrist. Seller said they have links up to 8" wrist. As I mentioned, I am very comfortable with a few vintage men's watches in that size range. And the cyclops on this is useful.
