I saw that on the news (well... watch news LOL) and I’ll have to make a mental note to record the episode when it airs.

All good... no worries. It reminds me of the episode from a few years ago when this elderly veteran was told that his GMT that he paid 120 bucks for at the PX is now worth 100 grand.

Talk about luck - that’ll sure help with retirement planning.

Saw it when it aired. As soon as I noticed the sharpness of the case, I knew it was big dollar. Couldn't have imagined it would be half a million. Would you keep it or sell it? I would estimate the age of the fellow to be 70.

I would estimate the age of the fellow to be 70. Sell it if I needed the money or if I had multiple heirs. Single heir and don’t need the money, then I’m keep it to pass down as a <$400 watch!
