Thanks everyone for the well wishes on this pick up. It’s been a few minutes since I put my name on the list for this one and didn’t even think I would get the call. I’ve never worn gold before, in fact I don’t even wear my gold wedding ring any longer. I’m still trying to decide if it’s right for me, as beautiful as it is. Don't concentrate on the gold only. Just the overall aesthetics of the watch. I am biased, because it is my favorite Rolex. I have only seen it once in real life. It was at a non-Rolex AD, and it was a premium over the original. I almost went for it! I had previously seen the all Everose at an AD, and didn't think I would like the TT. Sometimes you can't explain these things. But, for me, this watch just works so well. In the end, of course, you have to love it. And, after all, you don't have anything to lose. Only to gain regardless of how long you keep it. Just wear it for a while, and give it a chance. I saw both the full RG and the TT in NYC and was blown away by both. The full RG was stunning, but I think I'd be self-conscience with that much RG on my wrist. I think the TT strikes a much better balance. I'd totally for for the RG model if it came on the rubber strap to tone it down some more like the RG Yachtmaster

I agree Baco Noir that the full RG would look amazing on that Oyster rubber!

aquajoe - It's right for you! This lovely piece will continue to grow on you, for sure. I think two tone adds a nice touch, it's also timeless as with all things Rolex and is extremely versatile.
