Hi guys... finally tried on a GMT Master II today in authorized dealer... Lovely, lovely watch... they only had black/black version though... but it surprised me how light it felt, even compared to my TT Sub... Perhaps the steel bracelet is so much lighter than the TT one... I'm not surprised that it was flimsy and light... we all know Rolex bands are like that... but THAT light... The first time I noticed that the clasp is shorter in GMT Master too. That same bracelet is used in Explorer II, right? If stainless steel Sub weighs 137 grams I'm sure GMT II must be in around 120g range. Just a wild guess.

The SS GMT-II weighs in at 127 grams, just one gram heavier than the Exp-II which is 126 grams. Below is a chart which might help you out!

Thanks JJ, I knew it was about that.
Good list, I think I saw it on WTF already. Does that list only the ss models?

The TT and YG models would obviously be heavier. For example: The SS Sub-date weighs in at 135 grams, but my TT Blue Sub weighed in at 148 grams. JJ

DT = Daytona... 140 grams.
I'm surprised it's not more than that. Even with the solid midlinks...

I'm with you Mav, a GMT or GMT II has been my "go to" watch for a long time.
