Hi WTLL, you can show me pics of your collection anytime you like!! You do know that it's partly your fault that I'm currently seeking out an 'emergency' - don't you?? Nice collection and pics and, of course, Welcome!

hi mike i'll try to answer your Qs ,I dont in all honesty prefer any of my watches to the other, i loved them the day i bought them, and even when a new darling comes along, i can still recall the pleasure each one gave me when i purchased it, and those memories are what makes each one special , its like re-living that special moment over and over again. but as to how often i wear my SS Daytona now here's a story!!!!. Our Silver wedding anniversary is next year and i managed to convince the wife something special was in order ! and with a 18month+ list even if i was very lucky i still proberly wouldn't get one in time "but its the thought that counts " right!?, well within 5 weeks of being on the list we get "The Call" if we were interested a black faced SS Daytona had come in which for various reason those before me did not want!! well the next morning im the proud owner!, here's the twist its now been 3 months since i got it but trying to be true to the thought of that special gift for our anniversary i haven't worn it!!!!!!! polished , fondled and admired but not actually worn it, the AD even dated the warranty for our anniversary giving us effectively a 3 yr warranty result!!!, BUT THERE'S STILL ANOTHER 14 MONTHS!!!! till our silver

That looks to be a serious piece of equiment!! re the emergency great conversation piece when you tell them the small print on the disclaimer you have to sign, in a nutshell you play you pay!! but on the bright side in a genuine emergency you may get to save a life and a new watch thrown in by Breitling steve

got mine less 20% UK if that's any help steve Hi worktolivelife, was the 20% because you know the AD and have a good relationship with them, or because you buy a fair amount from them, or something of this nature. I'm interested to know of anywhere UK based that offers any kind of discount that I can get for myself, i.e. from the AD themselves as opposed to going through a third party (I might be able to haggle 5% - not sure, but no one seems to want to give more.) I'd be interested to know of any AD's you'd recommend. Best Rambler
