Bought this brand new from my Rolex Dealer - a couple of weeks ago. Nice one! They do exist NIB out there.

They do exist NIB out there. Yep, they do. The latest one ever reported is a K serial 17000 (there is a picture of it at Oysterquartz.net). The latest of the other model OQs have all been P serial. Given that so few OQs were made, anyone with an A, P, or K has "one of the last ones made."

I think the kill and the keep would be pretty rewarding on that on Clifton! The watch has presence like no other non sports Rolex I've ever put on. I could just hear people say, "well that can't be a real Rolex. It ticks!" LOL, that's precisely why they can't sell it

Because the 5035 actually has an excapement mechanism similar to a mechanical watch, no other quartz watch ever made (with the possible exception of the Omega 15xx movements used in their Marine Chronometer) has a tick as LOUD or unique as the Rolex Oysterquartz.

If it is true I am very happy. ;D I thought the K SN was the last across all lines of OQ. I bought a K SN 17000 and have a P SN 17014. Thought I missed the 17014 by one year. Can anyone confirm that there was not a K SN 17014 produced? Either way still thrilled with my watches, but would be even better if I had one of the last SNs produced. Thanks.

Can anyone confirm that there was not a K SN 17014 produced? To my knowledge, no one has ever reported an OQ with a K serial number other than the model 17000. That doesn't mean that Rolex didn't make some, it just means I've never heard of any.

I couldn't stand it any longer. Just made a deal for the watch over the phone for $2800 + a service if it needs it I'll pick it up later this evening! I'm pretty stoked about this deal
