I wanted some gold hands for my 210. I found some, but they were kind of expensive and attached to a 190. The 190 has always been a favorite of mine but it's always been just out of reach price-wise. The same guy I traded my JLC Master 8 Days to had a 190. At the time, he didn't want to trade it toward my JLC so I took his 106 instead. Two weeks later, I get an email that he's thinking about moving his 190. I thought for about 30 seconds and said, "hell yeah let's do this". I offered him my GMTIIc + some cash and the deal was done. Fast forward 4 days, and here's the 190....after some unneeded drama with the US Postal Service. Pardon the crappy out of focus pics. I was in a hurry...as usual.

Steve (Simona's partner) told me he has a brown gator with gold stitch in the works...about a month before it'll be up for sale. One of them has my name on it. And on the JV.....that's a definite possibility if I can move the HKTAN pseudo-JV.

You see Sam, I told you that you didn't want to give up that JLC movement. Big congrats, and that (along with th 98) is one of the few Pams I would seriously consider. Well done.

Thanks fellas You see Sam, I told you that you didn't want to give up that JLC movement. Hey....I never disagreed with you there. I recall saying that if the 8 days movement was in a 190, I wouldn't have been selling it. The plan in the back of my head was to sell the JLC and 210....then buy a 190. I sort of got off track somewhere along the way and ended up selling the GMTIIc and picking up a PAM 106.....and keeping the 210. We'll have to see if the 210 stands the test of time. My guess is no. I'm thinking the black explorer II and 210 may hit the bricks soon. I'd like to add a zero and pocket some cash. I think I've turned into a flipper!

Hey, if the dorsal fin fits. I would tend to agree with the 210 not lasting in the company of a 190. A zero or a 112 would be a nice compliment to the rad and the sub.

Thanks everyone. I can definitely say that I'm going to try and cool it for a while....no buying/selling for a while. This last episode with the USPS stressed me out too much. Basically the 190 was MIA for 48 hours. It was shipped to me express on Monday....."guaranteed" delivery by noon on Tuesday. It didn't show up Tuesday....it didn't show up Wednesday....and tracking still showed it to be in California. After a dozen phone calls over two days, no one knew where it was. At this point, I was getting pretty worried....especially since it was under-insured. Then out of the blue, it shows up Thursday morning. Stress I don't need!

Holy Cow! Moooooving and shaking ! Never under insure. Even with insurance you'll play hell trying to get your money from that lot. Once shipped a collectable guitar overinsured from the luthier back to me. Took me almost a year to collect when it arrived in splinters.

Never under insure. Even with insurance you'll play hell trying to get your money from that lot. I agree.....and normally would have something insured for the full value. USPS express only allows insurance up to $5000. Hindsight, should have gone registered....but it's slooow.
