It is a 1907 Waltham Crescent Street and it was given to me about a year ago by (at the time) my girlfriend's dad, now my father in law. I really enjoy it and I am amazed at how acccurate (and LOUD) this watch is: it stays within 10 seconds a day! Here are some pics and I am sure that GLADIATOR will be able to tell me a lot more about it!

Yes I can Great and lovely piece First its date 1906 - that's an early piece NEXT look at that fantastic 'star' micro regulator on balance wheel NEXT 21 Jewel with brass chatons. Not your normal 17J but capped Jewell's in every arber/staff - outstanding. That's IS the best. The train - maybe gold ( 2nd wheel surely) BUT No picture of the face?? White Enamel for certain.
Great piece. Thanks for sharing

Thank you Adam! I stay away from face pics because somebody had a crude attempt at some point to fill in the number 5. :-(

Thanks Adam.
So... would you consider this a good watch for its period?
If I was alive in 1906 and I purchased this watch, would this have been considered average? Above average? I know it's not anywhere near Patek caliber.

Mmm. Yes a top AMERICAN watch for the period. USA/Waltham developed machine/automated production. Patek Philippe made hand made watches. Waltham were first to make high grade automated (machine made) production.
So in USA it would have been considered above average.
Thats my opinion

GLADIATOR here is a better face shot for you. You can really see how the butchered some of the numbers at the bottom. I checked for repaired cracks but I did not see any.

Actually it is an OUTstanding repair to the enamel. Nearly if not 100% invisible to the enamel repair Then they did a terrible (hand) paint of the number SO strange. Strange indeed Thanks for posting
