IWC Aquatimer Charles Darwin. A remarkable dive watch in bronze and rubber. With a inhouse Flyback Chronograph movement.

Always fun to get a new pair of shoes! This is a strap from Atelier Romane, Vintage Tuscany, which I ordered a couple years ago for my Reverso Small Seconds. It looked beautiful, and I think it suits the Railmaster perfectly as well. I love the bracelet made for the RM, but I always think the watch looks more comfortable on a nice leather strap.

rw16610 Thanks, Rommel, very glad to own in once again! Yes, I think the first pic was in the Boutique on Saturday. I was not being my usual impulsive self, so I decided to think it over for a couple of days.

muckymark Congratulations! That is a great watch. Often looked at it myself since it was introduced!

Baco Noir I truly hope you get that WG Sub very soon. It must be a couple of years now since you first put in the request? I am certain once you do get it, your patience will be rewarded. Can't wait for that day when you finally get to post it! I haven't said it often during all my years of flipping. But the sale of my first Railmaster was truly one of my regrets. I knew, however, if I was to ever get another it would have to be a new one, and the chances of that happening were slim. Until I was at the Omega Boutique a couple weeks ago.

Baco Noir That's it, exactly. Flipped it for something else. Although, to be honest, so many in such a short time that I don't remember exactly what I flipped it for. A friend had one on his wrist last week when we got together, and that really got me going again! The Railmaster is the only watch, possibly with the exception of the Explorer 1 I owned, that I can say is perfect for the guy with only one watch. Which is part of the plan, but might take a while!

Great watch, great story. carl has probably had 14 speedmasters since then🤣🤣🤣 Not quite 14, but a helluva lot! And even those are now gone!
