Cool, the end result will be worth it. I have found that when you go on a hunt like this that is not exactly easy you feel SO good when it's complete. My experience with this would be collecting all of those Rolex accessories over the years! Literally made a list of all the ones I wanted and ended up with them So once you enjoy it, I do not find it silly at all!

Oh yeah Rommel, I'm making a list of what these expensive pieces are costing me, my wife's gonna kill me if I don't turn a profit on this watch, hahaha. I do have one problem though, and it the same problem I had when I was buying and selling vintage leather jackets-I end up keeping most of them! It's horrible, like buying a table saw or a set of golf clubs for your wife-you´re really buying them for yourself. I hope I can recover, I only buy what I understand and unfortunately those are also the pieces I love. It's a tangled web we weave.

I'm looking at this at the moment, ahhhh, pretty This has been purchased, along with an expensive stainless steel disk I might add that goes underneath-who know they were 100 bucks! Un-Effin-believable! Tis bezel and insert will look beautiful, too bad this watch will be for sale soon, I may just keep it and sell my 5513! Hahaha, not!

At least you were able to get that insert, the package together once it's all on the watch could potentially make all of that back and then some. A more complete set's premium should be able to cover the few hundred spent on it. The lovely thing about Rolex (especially vintage) is there's thousands if not tens of thousands of people world wide (likely more) who could want a piece like that. The internet makes it a much easier sale for you vs trying to flip it locally.
