Just bought this on eBay, not sure why, but I like it a lot. I've been doing a bit of buying and selling these past few weeks and I was able to make some profit and thought I'd invest it in this. I've always wanted a 7021/0 Snowflake, so much cooler than any other Tudor Sub I can think of, I'm getting board with black dial Subs, time to break out a bit. What do you think? I thought it was a decent price considering what it is, I know a couple of the markers are a bit off, but the majority of the patina is still there and it's cool and a bit rare. Oh, and it's got the original bracelet (serial number etched into it) how cool is that?

I love the vintage blue snowflakes and would love a well preserved ND version. That one's a little rough for my tastes, but they are classics for sure. I've noticed they've been harder to find lately and going up in price too.

I like rough and dirty (hahaha) you know why, mostly because it shows the watch hasn't been screwed with, I've seen rougher examples selling for €3k in Europe which is about $4k (head only!)

True. When I see the ones that look nearly perfect, I wonder if they are pieced together watches rather than all original. I don't look at this one with the same concern.

That's exactly what I look for. The more it looks like it came out f grandpa's cigar box the better, I will not buy a vintage piece from eBay or anyone else for that matter in shiny new looking condition, IMO it means the watch was screwed with one way or another. The only way I will buy like that is from someone that I know is straight and even then I would be cautious. This one is cool because it just looks like it's never been in a collection, I mean the owner took the time to scratch the serial number on the bracelet, and it's dated 1965, the watch is from 1966 so it's the one that came with the watch when it was purchased, unless someone deliberately tried to make it look old and do that which I don't think is the case with this watch. I paid a good amount so I kind of want it for myself.

I like it but won't pay Rolex prices for Tudor.

Very cool, Steve! Totally agree that it can be refreshing sometimes to look at a different design or colours after a few years of having a certain watch. For me when it comes to Rolex (well, vintage ones especially) I buy them because of the passion but certainly do treat them like long term investments based on how the market has been. These are some of the pieces I would not want tampered with or restored in any way once it's decent like yours. That whole rescued from the ocean look after 50 years though is not something I would want on my wrist or to even just have. Scratches are inevitable, give watches character and do make you sure of the fact it was for a good part of it's life worn often. I like it but won't pay Rolex prices for Tudor. Same here, well the vintage ones to me are way cooler than the modern watches offered by them. There's too many things I love about Rolex to spend the cost of one on anything else but that's just me.
