As of a few hours ago, I no longer have that watch. It's been with me for 7 years and it's been work daily, unless I was out of town.
I am going to miss it a lot and I can't wait for Christmas to come around so I can wear the new one that Anna got for me.

No. I gave it away.
It was given to me by a member here, CJ, about 7 years ago, during a time in my life when I was forced to sell most of my watches. I treasured that watch ever since and it meant a lot to me.
After some thought, I decided to pass it on to a great guy that has been wanting one for a long time but never quite had the ability to get one. Two kids in college will do that do you.

That watch has great karma with it and I'm betting the new owner will treasure it and pay it forward when the time comes for him as well.

That's quite a gesture, Chip. This karma thing is contagious.

WTG, Chip! Very nice gesture. You are going to love the new one. I'm having a hard time rotating mine out, since I got it. Oddly, my husband loves it on me. I should do a formal review, but would lack the knowledge of the first gen, for a comparison. I'll leave that to you, after Christmas... Seriously, the lines, the lack of exact symmetry, the odd tapered bracelet with recessed polished center links, the sharp angles....I could go on and on. I haven't found anything about it I don't like.

Looking forward to the review/comparison of the two iterations of the Monster.
