Yes it's true you can do it with instant coffee I went over friends house and he showed me how to do it.
I'm going to try it sometime next week since I don't have my developing tanks or changing bag

That's something you'd expect from McGiver. I think I'll stick to digital.

Me too, but I must admit there is something "romantic" about going film.
In a way it's no different than a mechanical watch vs a quartz watch.

A lot of people now are using applications to make their digital pictures look more analog. I go both ways I like digital and I like film, but with film I tend to slow down more and think about my settings my aperture my shutter speed before I shoot. With digital I would shoot like a madman and hope that out of the 100s of pictures I took at least one of them is a keeper.
I'm looking forward to develop my first roll of black and white film in a few weeks.
With color film C-41 I just take it to Costco and for $1.79 they'll develop for me.

Do they give you a CD with the "prints" or just the negatives for that price?

I just looked at my receipt the price to develop is a $1.59 and to transfer to a DVD is $2.99 note this is a DVD not a CD. But this is only to develop C 41 processing film not black and white.
