Thanks Rommel. My only concern is the loop on the Fusee. It looks rather large in the pictures but if it is these clasps are not expensive and I only live a few blocks away from the store if there is a problem!
I forgot its a long weekend here in BC this weekend ( do you have family day in Ontario?) so no mail on Monday. I hope though that Canada post still sorts mail even though they do not deliver it! According to Royal Mail tracking the fusee is in Canada!

See, so there's nothing to worry about. If anything you can go have a jeweler add some more silver solder as reinforcement for the potentially weak portions of it.
We do have family day here, but if I recall correctly the 17th of February is when our additional day off would be. I think they could still have some sorting and trucks going just to keep on top of things but hardly any if at all. It should still arrive around the same time though. Once the watch touches down in Canada this weekend you're set!

Sorry, MATE, I just realized something: You gotta go, you are on the wrong forum! This is WRISTWatchForums, for WRIST Watches only! What part of WRIST Watch is it that you don't understand! Try out this forum: PocketWatchForumsForTossers.com Seriously, though, I'm looking forward to seeing this one again, and also the new Fusee. Hope you get it next week. Cheers Carl

That's some of the best news you got all week, I'll bet! It's always nice to know the wait time won't be as long as anticipated.

now I am just trying not to look at tracking as there are always a couple of days that pass between it showing up on Royal Mails website as handed over to Canada post and it showing up on Canada posts tracking system! So excited to get this as it will be my first precious metal piece!
Yey Gods, just realized it is 3/4 inch thick!

I think they are wound by a key, so it's like a small clock basically. Well, now that it's in the hands of Canada Post, who knows how long it will take. They will probably work at half speed, pissed because they don't get the holiday on Monday! Cheers, Carl

Yeah, I can't see them in any sort of rush oh Monday BUT this is great news still. The goal of mid week can work if the customs processing was done at the airport over the weekend.
