That camera on the phone is amazing in the hands of someone with an amazing sense of composition!

Thanks Roger. Haven't looked at them yet on the computer and I hope the Tapatalk compression didn't kill them.

aerome Anna can vouch for the fact that every time we drive by, including yesterday, I mention that I never got a good shot of it. Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk Pro

I looked at that phone yesterday while purchasing new phones. If it weren't for the OS I would've bought it (or the 1020). They're really cool devices.

It's more polished than all others. Still I prefer windows to android and windows 8.1 should be even better. I hate it on tablets or computers but on phones it's great. It's amazing how far the integrated cameras have come over the years. Chances are I'll keep my LG E-973 for another year unless one of the upcoming devices blows me away in terms of specs. I miss iOS and have never tried the new Windows Mobile devices yet believe it or not. I'm sure they would be great for all of my MP3's and other media. It's also great to see Nokia getting back into the game so to speak. In the late 1990's, early 2000's they were doing very well.

Nokia's smartphone division was actually bought by Microsoft not long ago so those might be the last Nokia branded smartphones. We will have Microsoft Lumias Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk Pro

I had no idea that happened. They seem to be headed in the right direction though getting Skype, Nokia and what ever else in the future. Reminds me of Zuckerberg and Facebook. Found out the other day they purchased Whatsapp for A LOT of money, several billion (19 or so). I'm anxiously awaiting the days where a phone camera can perform like a decent point and shoot would in various settings. I no longer have a point and shoot camera, I saw it as a waste considering how seldom it was used compared to my iPhone over the years. This phone is a step in the right direction, indeed. Those pictures you took came out very well and looking back a few years to 2007, the point and shoots were junk compared to what's available now.

DP Review, the authority in camera reviews, says the Nokia Lumia 1020 is almost as good as a 3 years old DSLR. That's pretty good to me!
