Thanks so much guys, Kat, no pearl though, I like the look without it plus upwards of 150 bucks for a vintage one is highway robbery.

This was probably the Sub that I have most disliked–and I have owned many. This is why I feel It's so important to try on these watches–or at least know what to expect before you buy them. Luckily I bought the watch from a great shop and an even greater seller and he had no problems taking the watch back, this is another reason to buy from trusted sellers, granted you may pay a little bit more but it's worth it when things like this happen. Thanks so much for your support throughout this wild ride and hopefully next week I'll have the Red to show you.

That's great Steve and so nice they also had the red sub as well. Sounds like a seller well worth doing business with again.

Whats the old adage, but the seller first! You did this with this fellow Steve and have been treated wonderfully. The attitude of sellers like this is that of building a long term relationship with the customer, not just making a quick buck. They may not be the cheapest out there but they are the best in terms of customer service and flexibility if something is not right!

For vintage Ian I go with HQ Milton and Jacek, a fantastic shop and Jacek and Scott are fantastic. If you ever want vintage and a trustworthy seller you couldn't find better IMO. If these guys can put up with me and my indecisiveness they deserve a medal. None better.

Yes Roger, I was emailing him letting h him know that I wanted to return the watch and before sending the email I took a look at his site and low and behold the perfect Red Sub! Must be a sign I think and then email him to see if he'll do the trade since we're talking only a matter of a few hundred dollars difference and he agreed to do the deal, BTW it was a few hundred in my favor, this is why I continue to go back to this dealer. A real great guy and straight shooter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow! I just took a quick look at their website, and will go back for more! I know the Mission area in San Francisco pretty well, as I used to go down there frequently. I see they have a couple of very interesting Omega pieces as well, including an old Flightmaster with the tropical dial. Not to mention a couple of amazing Rolex Explorers. Bookmarked it as well.
Treasure Trove!
Cheers, Carl
