Not a bad looking movement for 35 years old huh? Sent from some sort of electronic device probably not much better than a carrier pigeon.

That's a great looking watch! The dial had a unique texture to it - kind of like walnut. I love the bracelet too - looks very comfortable.
Sent from my iPhone and I blame autocorrect for any spellin' errs!

Joe, I can't believe you got it so quickly! By the looks of it it is much much better in real life than those ebay pictures. I love the tone of the dial the the seconds hand is bang on! Don't you just love the peaceful way it ticks! Also, just look at the quality of the build in that movement. What Joe has not said is that his is one of the duper elite 9 series twin Quartz movements with a 20 seconds a year accuracy Well done Joe, well done

Yeah, less than 5 days from Fukuoka, Japan to Texas. Not bad, huh? I sent Ian a pm as soon as I found this piece on eBay asking for advice as I immediately fell in love with his King Seiko. Mine has quite a bit of texture in the brown dial but doesn't show up in photos like Ian's silver dial does. Still pleased though. Sent from some sort of electronic device probably not much better than a carrier pigeon.

Very nice indeed, Joe! Has class written all over it. Love that dial. Looks to be a very versatile watch as well.
It often takes longer for a small parcel to get from one end of Canada to another with Canada Post. And that ain't no lie either I have waited literally weeks for something to arrive from the US, as it gets hung up in Canada Customs as well for ages. Glad to see that your Seiko arrived so soon.
