This is set for release at SIHH 2015 and I must say I quite like it. It's the same 1950 case as mine, but in a more manageable 44mm size. I find the chrono interesting but using two hands on the main dial means it can only go up to 60 minutes. While not a deal breaker, I often use the chrono to time car drives or airplane rides. This one wouldn't allow you to do that. Regardless, I quite like it and I'd love to have one at some point. Will it happen? I doubt it. Ceramic, limited production 1950 case and an exotic in house chrono means one thing: high dollar. Probably a lot more than I'd ever be willing to pay for one Good looking though!!

Yeah, I've seen that in a few blogs recently and really like it. Somehow I missed that it was a ceramic case though. The "ceramica" on the dial should have been a dead giveaway. I think I was paying to much attention to the large chrono hands. I wonder how that works with the crown guard...assume some of it is DLC metal.

Either DLC or ceramic. The back is Titanium.

One thing that sort of bugs me on this particular watch is the chapter ring. Perfectly normal but strange on a Panerai that usually has very few markings on the dial.

Forgot that it's a fly back as well. Column wheel and vertical clutch for smooth operation.
Target price is 16300, just saw it on Bloomberg.

I'm sorry, I don't like it. Panerai makes a superb ceramic case but I don't think this works.

Use your phone to time car or airplane rides! Wear a Pam because you own it!

Blue dials, blue hands, and even the blue hand on the BLNR looks good. But to me, something about this blue hand on the PAM looks out of place.

Wow, it's thick! 18.4mm but I do love the matte ceramic case.

In all honesty I think I'd like it more if it was non chrono. While the blue doesn't fully bother me, I'd prefer a color that would blend better with the patina on the dial. It might be less visible but it would probably look better. Their matte ceramic cases are just about the nicest I've ever seen and I prefer their finish to many other ceramics out there. I'd be just as happy with a Radiomir ceramic, or even happier. This ticks all the right boxes for me.

Awesome watch! I really like it. It is stunning watch I have never expected DLC and titanium combination case (impressive!) I have heard from some people who have Panerai watches in my home town, they had issued their watch movement problem ( watches were just stopped with no reason) Thus, they claimed the '8days' is the most durable Panerai watch as compared other Panerai models. (I am not sure that is true or not because I am not an old-timer but I assume maybe they abused their watch I guess )
