Gorgeous and has a really good quality Seiko movement that in terms of quality if it were Swiss you would be look at 3K to get as near in terms of quality I feel. The only thing that bugs me is th date window. I am not keen on the rounded edges and corners especially when the frame printed around it is so sharp. I just know that little detail would bug my OCD mind to hell!

I just know that little detail would bug my OCD mind to hell! I agree with you on that Ian. My thought is that Seiko chose to make it with rounded corners to prevent cracking of the enamel. I read that the dial is hand made.

Ah, well that changes everything for me then Chip, I did not realize it was real enamel. I don't mind things like that if there is a solid technical reason for it which there is it being enamel. In that case it makes me want to sell a few watches!

Yes, it's made from powder using the traditional baking methods.
