Thanks, I've really enjoyed it so far. My wife and I spent a week in Toronto last year and really had a great time. Beautiful city with friendly folks! That's only cuz I moved out of Toronto two years ago.

NOt sure if I've seen Marathon watches DU. Are they pricey? I'm guessing the model above is pretty tough? I'm on the look out for a watch for my youngest brother by next April. His Pulsar dive (our Grandma gave us watches at our 21st b'days this was that gift) is totally kaput apparently so I'd like to replace it with something else.

Hi Amanda, I've only had my Marathon SAR a few weeks, but it is a kind of a no nonsense, rugged watch. I bought mine without bracelet for $485.00 US at the Military Watch Resource www.broadarrow.net/You can see lots of pics of the Marathons there as well. Hope this helps, Bill

I remember your post about this watch.

Very cool! I used to have a Marathon SAR....sometime I miss it. It was a fun watch. I like the chrono version, too. I assume it's quartz? No, it's an auto. The CSAR is based on a 7750 movement The new non-chrono JSAR has a quartz movement with the same case.
