Testing. I am a new member here and unsure of where to post this. I just bought a Seiko SNE179 RR (Railroad) watch with the expansion band. I like the expansion band very much and would like to convert a Casio Model 2719 to an expansion band. Yes, the Casio is a very low cost watch, but would still like to convert it to an expansion band. It states that the battery for the Casio is rated for 10 years of life expectancy. Guess I will not know if the battery will last 10 years as advertised until 10 years from now. Anyway, to convert this Casio to an expansion band, what do I have to look at to make sure I get the correct Watch strap for this model 2719 Casio, such as size, etc. Any thoughts on how I do this? Thanks in advance for any answers. Also, I just love my Seiko SNE179, it seems like a very good watch for the $80 I paid.

Welcome to the forum Richard. I moved this and made it its own post, it will get more traction this way. ianmedium is your guy on this, he is quite the expert on Seiko and Casio!

Hi Richard, welcome.
The number you gave for the Casio is the module number ( the movement) which fits in many different versions.
Could you show us the watch you have or a link to the same one. Looking on the web I notice most have an integral bracelet though a couple have one attatched with the normal spring bars to the case.
If yours is the latter then you can replace it with th expansion bracelet of your choice. If it's an integral one unfortunately there is nothing that would fit.
