Went by Timeless to check on a bracelet for iceman, and Dan just got in a few new Prospex models. I must say I love the monster tuna. This is Quartz but I still like it. First time seeing the Pepsi in person. Last, maybe my favourite Astron. They are almost always sold out and leaving that one there was tough.

Love that Pepsi! Especially with the "Jubilee" bracelet. That's a good photo, too, it looks stunning.

Nice, that Astron is sweet Agreed! The tuna case does nothing for me. Love the strap on the quartz model though.

Nice watches! My favourite of the bunch has to be that dive watch with the red and blue bezel. Seiko really knows how to make em!

Good to see you here Brad!! That monster tuna is really cool in person. Guys, I met Brad while in San Jose for training. He was in my class. He fell in love with my Seiko Monster and he ended up ordering one. Since then, a few weeks ago, he bought another Seiko mechanical and is already contemplating his third piece. I created an addict lol. He will fit right in. Welcome to the forum tempusfugit!

I created an addict lol. He will fit right in. Welcome to the forum tempusfugit! Welcome Brad ( tempusfugit). Chip's right - it is an addictive hobby, but the Monster is an excellent first choice. I don't know anyone who has been disappointed with one and they also still love it no matter what other watches they own.

Thanks for the kind welcome guys. My third automatic came in the mail last night, Seiko SNKN37. Love the retro vibe. I've got a decent winder on the way too. Chip has really awakened a 'monster' in me. My dad used to be a manufacturers rep for Howard Miller (and others) and he loved pocket watches. I've always been interested in timepieces, but something really clicked in me when I met Chip. Putting up an incoming thread today for the new Seiko and I owe Chip some pics of my dad's pocket watch collection that I inherited. Happy weekend! Cheers.

tempusfugit - quite a few of us have pocket watches too. I have my great grandfather's Elgin and had it fully services a few years back to prepare it for the next generation.

I have an Elgin pocket watch I've been holding on to for a while debating if u want to get it serviced or not. It's really good looking, so I'm leaning towards getting it fixed
