I think you might be the only one here to have that model.

I have the green dial Rekraft and it came on the SS bracelet which is actually pretty nice. The dial color reminded me of the old Zodiacs and I love the cushion case too. Congrats Brad! Thanks! You don't know how close that model came in second, Baco

Very nice, Brad. The Rekraft collection is super cool! I also prefer the lighter color. The supplied strap tapers to 20mm, which is good for me, but you could totally do a straight up PAM strap. This strap isn't too bad, quality wise, but I would prefer a lighter color, as well. Chip, the Seiko strap I complained about was on the green dial Alpinist. I switched it out, immediately. It felt like cardboard, which is surprising, because it's a more expensive model. Thank you Kat. Actually, the supplied Seiko strap starts at 24mm and then tapers to what looks like about 22mm with a squared off end. It's not that it's awful, it's genuine calf leather and is supple enough for not being broken-in, but I just feel it doesn't do the watch justice. Chip should have never told me about Panatime...now I'm looking at straps like this:

That one can be your next. It's a slippery slope. Don't fight it. Resistance is futile.

He's right , it's futile. Even I have some Panatime straps, and they are actually really nice for the modest prices they charge. I checked the size on mine. It does taper to 20, and is squared off, as you said. It just fits me on the tightest hole.

Panatime is good value for the money and I've always had a good experience buying from them.

tempusfugit you may also want to check out Crown & Buckle for some straps. I have several of those.

The price just dropped to $129...so tempting!
