Very nice!! Hard to go wrong with a Seiko! Thanks. I think we're in a similar situation. A year ago I had no Seikos now I have 5. Three divers, the Alpinist and this. They're like potato chips....once you open that bag, you can't stop at one.

I'm feeling fairly well Seikofied with near on a dozen and I'm stalking something else right now.

I wanted the white dial, but couldn't source it here so I got the black dial model. It's amazingly accurate ( 1 second a month!). The lug width is 21mm, but the 22mm NATO is a good fit. Case width is 44.5mm, so its a bit larger than the Explorer 2. Wear your white dial in good health mate!

Brad needs a little help carrying the load in this sub-forum. :-) After 2 weeks in confinement this arrived yesterday. A late birthday present to myself. There's a sense of déjà vu looking at this watch. I'm sure I've seen a similar face around here..lol Mark Mark, This really is a beautiful watch. I would have one, but I'm hesitant about the kinetic drive thing. Now that you've owned the watch a bit, what are your impressions on reserve and wear? I also looked at the special winder/charger required and was a bit disappointed in the surprisingly substantial investment involved... Thanks and cheers!

tempusfugitDon't worry about the reserve. I wear it on average once a week and the power indicator is showing 20 seconds meaning 7 + days of reserve. It collects power quickly, just a couple of hours on the wrist takes it from 1 day reserve to 7...Overall I'm very happy with this watch. It's big but not unwieldy and has a unique look. Pictures can't capture the sunray effect on the dial. In some light it's white, in others a shimmering silver. I get a lot of positive compliments on it. Mark

tempusfugitBrad, update on the power reserve. I haven't worn or even handled the watch since Monday evening. The power indicator is still showing 20 seconds (7+ days) Mark
