The parcel arrived today, all the way from the USA! Nice packing: Very nice presentation box I guess you can work this out now... Yesss, its a long awaited Orient Blue Ray...unbelievable quality and value for money: I read about this model on the forums and YouTube reviews. All were favorable. One of the best budget price divers I have come across.

I like the styling too. Don't know much about Orient though, so do tell...
Also, I'd love to see a shot of that dial in the sun - looks like it'd catch a lot of light.
Congrats on the new piece.

I like the styling too. Don't know much about Orient though, so do tell... Also, I'd love to see a shot of that dial in the sun - looks like it'd catch a lot of light. Congrats on the new piece. Yes, the daylight & sunshine really bring the deep blue radiant color on the dial and bezel. We are in winter here, so I will post a wrist shot when next we get a sunny day! Indoors it looks black because the color is so deep. Movement is in house Japanese ( Wholly owned subsidiary of Seiko Epsom) and non-hacking. This is no big deal for me as time at my age life isn't down to seconds......yet LOL Main crown and the subsidiary crown at 2 o'clock are screw-in and alters the day and has two languages. 20bar resistance to water Lume is good. Vivid with 60 secs torch exposure or 10 minutes in sunshine will supply approx 6 hours ( visible enough to tell the time in darkness) Very comfortable on the wrist with SS bracelet (not SEL). Link pins are single split pins sans collars, so resizing is easy. Case is 41mm 10 to 4 across. 12 month international warranty. The watch is somewhere in between a Seiko SKX007 J and SNZF17 J in what you get, but the Orient Blue Ray has the edge I think in finish and value for money. This watch would be priced about 2.5 times as much here in Oz, probably more than what I paid for it. Can be purchased on line from reliable sources at Japan, Singapore and of course USA.

Very nice! Haven't met a diver I didn't like. For a moment there, I thought it might be the Saturation Diver, but the Blue Ray is my favorite color!
